"I believe this is one of the most complete pet rabbit books I've ever read! Between many rabbit books, magazines, APR, and personal experience I have gathered my knowledge on these wonderful lagomorphs.

It's hard to find mostly all the info I've needed in
one book. Not only do I believe it is a great compilation for experienced rabbit owners to have but also a great new introduction for beginners too! From the beginning of learning the ancestry of our own pet rabbits to teaching them tricks, it's all great info!

Overall, I loved this book and found it VERY easy to read. One of my favorite parts was the section on tricks! I can’t wait to try them out!

If there is one book you need to have when owning a rabbit, I believe it's this one, and I will be glad to recommend it to rabbit owners I know!"

Sincerely,
Elizabeth,

"Dear Hjalti,
As a new owner of pet rabbits, I was keen to learn all I could in a short space of time! This book is an ideal place to start to learn about my new found bunns.

I was particularly interested in the section on feeding correctly, and the lists of good and bad foods for them. This was also an opportunity to learn why these foods were important for them.I also found the section on behaviour really interesting.

I think it has helped in the way I handle them, by understanding why they do not always like certain things, such as being lifted from their hutch when they are quite happy where they are.

This book would be of great interest to anyone contemplating acquiring a new pet. I would happily recommend them to read it. I also think my rabbits will be benefitting from it, by receiving the correct care.

Thanks for the information "

"Dear Hjalti,
After I bought 2 dwarf Netherlands I scrambled to get as much information about them as possible, after the fact, no less ( not recommended). I found the guide to be very helpful. I'll admit I was quite uninformed about rabbits when I made my furry purchase.

After reading the book I feel much more confident about caring for our new friends.
The sections on bunny-proofing your house, feeding, and grooming were extremely helpful and filled with useful suggestions. I also appreciated the section on how to best welcome the new bunnies into our family.

I have a young daughter and I want her to bond with the bunnies, and I realize now it'll take some work. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about caring for pet rabbits."

About rabbits.
Rabbits are fast-moving, big-eared mammals. There are about 25 different species of rabbits. They live in a variety of environments, including deserts, swamps, marshes, forests, grasslands, and prairies. Rabbits are found on every continent except Antarctica. Most rabbits live for about a year in the wild and they have a fast reproductive rate. Rabbits range in size from 1 to at least 2 feet (30 to 60 cm) long. They have very big and powerful hind legs which they use for hopping and for digging burrows. Rabbits are plant-eaters and eat grass, leaves, bark, and twigs.
... and rabbits are super cute ;)
